We, the Mizoram Team from the Department of Mass Communication, MZU stayed at JyotiChitraban campus, which is the largest film, video, audio and television programme facility provider of the region. There are four Auditoriums in which the screening of different films were done which are: SrimantaSankardeva International Auditorium (Audi-1), Sri MadhabDev International Auditorium (Audi-2), Banikhantakakati Auditorium (Audi -3) and JyotiChritrabanAuditorium (Audi -4). We attended the Film festival for 3 days and mainly viewed the screenings atSankardevaKalakhetra International Auditorium and Art Gallery. We had the opportunity to watch more than six films during our short stayand had the privilege to participate in the interaction session with directors and audience after the screenings of each film. Out of 6 movies,Han Dan,Daughter ofMine and Eternal Winterinterested us the most with their excellent scripts, talented actors and amazing camera works.

Inside the theatre
Han Dan is a Taiwan movie that speaks about redemption, friendship, revenge, tragedies.
Daughter of mine is an Italian movie - A daughter torn between two mothers; the one who raised her with love, and her biological mother who instinctively claimed her back.
Eternal Winter Is a Hungarian movie where the Soviet armies invaded Hungary and took all the young women to work in the soviet Labour camp, the actress Irene found Rajmund who taught her how to survive and they eventually fell in love with each other.
It was indeed an immense pleasure to be part of such an incredible and auspicious event. We are so grateful for getting the opportunity to attend GIFF where we got to see great story tellers from the across the world. We are indeed thankful to our Professors for giving us the opportunity to nurture our experience as well as knowledge, and also to the Government of Assam and the organisers to showcase regional cinema and introduce film enthusiast to world cinema for putting such magnanimous efforts.
