Banning Of Cow Slaughter- Red Meat Revolution

- Lalrinthari Zadeng & Lalrinsanga Cattle slaughter in India is historically a tabooed subject, cow being a sacred animal in the Hindu religion.  It is considered holy and is worshipped by the Hindus. Up to 24 out of 29 states currently have various regulations prohibiting either the slaughter or sale of cows. The execution of the law differs from state to state depending on the political atmosphere while there are some states in India which has no regulation on cow slaughter. Before we get deeper into the subject, it is important to understand what secularism means. Secula...

Image
-  Lalawmpuii Fanai & R. Lalrinfeli Still considering what subject you would prefer after passing your higher secondary schools or after graduating. Are you interested in photography or videography but still confused if it would help you for your future? If you are in a dilemma, this is an article that might help you to clear up your confusions. Some people might have said that you don’t need to have a qualified degree to have a job in the field of Mass Communication and Journalism. But, I can assure you that, it is always better to learn everything about a particular field or subject which you want to enter before you get into the field because even when you started your education, the first thing that you learn is the ABC. You also need to know the ABC’s of the particular field that you have opted for.  Mass Communication and Journalism is still very fresh especially in the minds of the Mizos. The University has been running the course for only four yea...
