full name) a professor executive and programme officer of the
prestigious organization.
Mr. T. Siama talked about the importance
of technicality including the matter of every detail in broadcasting, and
therefore said “even makeup plays an
important part in the broadcasting service and none is allowed to enter the studio
without applying his or her makeup, even all the Governemnt officials including
Ministers had to enter the makeup room”.
The students observed the studio room,
production room and see different types of camera. Mr. T Siama also spoke about
the importance of using tripod, a three-legged stand for supporting camera. He
said the cinema in Mizoram could improve in many ways with the help of tripod
sicne it help to shoot shot better.
The students also visited the engineer
controlling room where the producer generates and controlled the programmes. It
is only through this room that the videos are put out on air .The editing room
also plays an important part as the CD drive are being played on from this room.
One of the most common problem that are
faced by the Broadcasting service is the shortage of interviewers and anchors
as there are only few professionals and which often lead to effecting the
quality and quantity of production, as many audiences from both the urban and
rural areas of Mizoram rely on the program for information and educational
purposes.
This organization also promotes
different fields of the programmes such as Drama, Music and others which helped
in enriching knowledge and empowering experts of different areas as they are
given the chance to promote themselves in Mizoram.
