Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Mass Communication Department, Mizoram University.





Every year Teachers Day celebrations are held in India on 5th September and this year Teachers Day was also observed by Mizoram University, Aizawl. It was celebrated by different departments including the department of Mass Communication, Mizoram University.
Teachers Day celebration was organised by the 1st and 3rd semester students of Mass Communication Department, and the celebration were began at 1:30 pm. The programme was lead off with Bible reading and prayer by Sarah Malsawmtluangi of  3rd Semester and it was followed by special items from both 3rd semester students i.e Vanlalhruaizela and his entertaining Magic show and Lallawmzuala with his amazing number.
.After these programmes there was a group singing from 1st semester. Mrs. Indira Devi Nongmaithem, The Head of Department of Mass Communication gave an important motivation speech to the students. This speech was followed by Special item from Joshua Lalduhawma of 3rd Semester who performed a song and  Dr. V. Ratmala, Assistant Professor of Mass Communication Department gave vote of thanks.
The program ended with cake cutting ceremony, all the faculties received Teachers day gifts and everyone sang Mass Communication song “Mass Com Zindabad” and vote of Thanks was given from 3rd semester Class representative C.Laldinpuia.
After the programme ended, there Photo sessions, interaction and refreshment.

Technological impact on language usage among the youth (How language usage in personal space is slipping over formal space)

- C. Laldinfeli Social Media have shortened the usage of our sentences and words because of limit of spaces. We try to reflect our thoughts, ideas and opinions with the least number of characters.
