FRESHER’S SOCIAL 2019
Fresher’s
social is held every year in Mizoram University it has become a custom for all
the students to have Mr and Miss fresher every year. The participants were
newcomers from various departments selecting two participants to represent
their department.
On
9th September 2019,Mizoram university held the Fresher’s social and
in this programme the student took a pledge on plastic free campus. The Vice
Chancellor Prof KRS SambasivaRao gave a speech where he mentioned that MZU will
provide more than just academics but also setup incubation centres that will
pave way for young entrepreneurs to achieve their aim and goals and also play a
vital role in creating an impact in the economic growth of Mizoram. He also
mentioned that there will be opening of new departments and adding new
facilities, new buses will be provided, new buildings are constructed for
hostel and more buildings will be constructed in the near future.
The
fresher’s social 2019 is not only about the selection of Mr and Miss fresher
there were melodious singing from the students, motivational speeches from the
MZUSC members and important news and advices from the Vice Chancellor. The
Judges of 2019 Fresher’s social were Dr. Benjamin L Saitluanga, C. Lalrinzuala and Dr. JullieZothangpuii.
They have judged the participant through written and stage performance and for
the year 2019 Mr and Miss fresher,Lalruatdika Department of Psycology and
Lalnunpuii Department of Education were the winners. Mr and Miss fresher
